This is the worst place I have ever lived, Management does not care, the Hornig company does not care, you get the runaround about everything maintenance doesn't show up to fix things when stated, if I didn't have to stay here until my children finished High School I would definitely move.

Hard to get approved even for tax credit. Have to be perfect. Michelle is nice. Jada doesnt care and is just there to collect her paycheck. Floor plans are kind of ugly

Over the course of 5 years plus now I have had the pleasure of working for Hornig Companies and I have first hand seen that their managers, caretakers and really everyone on their team not only take extremely good care of the properties that they are responsible for but also care for the tenants and their needs that live in the buildings as well as their contractors. We work with Michelle and Steve at Hummingbird and Shenandoah primarily and can confidently say that they are of no exception to any of this. Over the course of the last few years we have grown to work very well with one another and I have seen them problem solve, be proactive on issues as they arise, go above and beyond to help residents all while keeping a smile on their faces. If you are looking for an apartment or townhouse to rent in the metro and/or the surrounding areas I would highly recommend checking out one of Hornig Companies locations prior to looking elsewhere but that is just my opinion!
