I was recently here for breast ultrasound and mammography and it was the best experience I've ever had (am no spring chicken either). The staff were really professional and caring-did their jobs well. The Radiologist was terrific-very informative and helpful. The great thing is they tell you the results right away-which certainly reduces anxiety! Am grateful for that. I will return, when needed. Sorry to read others had problems-I've learned to always get second and third opinions and to ask many many "what-if" kinds of questions. True-staff may not appreciate this, but-it's my body and I have a right to know as much as possible-before any procedure, even an x-ray. Medicine is difficult. However, this Clinic was a real oasis. t

I had surgery to remove an implant where I had a mastectomy. The entire team from the receptionist,anesthesiologist, the person putting in my IV, The nurse in the recovery room and Dr. Choudry were wonderful!! Thank you for the care of that I received.

The UMN breast center in Edina is wonderful, BUT my experience at the UMN Breast Center in Minneapolis was probably the worst medical experience of my life. I had a lump, and went in for a mammogram. The mammographer was lovely, and helpful. We knew that I was going to need a biopsy... They left me sitting in the waiting area for almost three hours, in a little half gown, and talked about me in the hallway right outside the room. Beyond that, when the numbing medication didn't work, the doctor didn't seem to care. He just had a resident hold me down, while the dug around. THEN, the biopsy missed my mass (which was huge), so I had to go in for ANOTHER. For the second biopsy, I went to the UMN Edina Breast center. It was a night an day experience. I shudder driving past the breast center in Minneapolis. It was already going to be a traumatic event, but the Minneapolis office made it so much worse. If you need to use the UMN Breast Center, make sure you head for Edina. They are absolutely amazing.
