Awful, but nice fireplace and kind front desk. Rooms: Hot! The aircondition blew hot air so it was on average upper 70s in the room. The shower was stopped up, so I had to shower in a full bathtub of dirty water! Walkability: It was pretty central to the convention and areas. Food & drinks: They wanted to charge $20 for breakfast that only had a few scrambled eggs and I had to eat them with a knife, because there weren't any more forks.

This hotel is not worthy of Hilton's "premium selection" brand as a Double Tree. The rooms are incredibly outdated and dingy. There is no dual HVAC, so if it is warm in the spring, there is no AC. Our room had a strange layout, the bed was by the door with the bathroom plopped in the middle and a large office area by the window, preventing good airflow from the window to the bed. We were not aware of the lack of AC. When we checked in, the woman at the desk mentioned the room would be warm, but to just turn the thermostat down and open the windows. We did both of those things before heading out for a few hours, hoping the room would cool down. We arrived back at the hotel and the room was still sweltering. Around 2 AM, my husband went to the front desk to see what could be done because the room had to be at least 80 degrees. It was at that time he was informed that the AC is not on yet and by us having our thermostat set low, only hot air was blowing into the room. He was also told that the reason there is no dual HVAC is because the building is old. We have stayed in Hilton hotels that are in old, refurbished buildings that had dual HVAC and were well appointed. An old building is not an excuse when Hilton has lots of old buildings in its portfolio. After we shut off the thermostat, the room cooled off a little, but the layout of the room prohibited good air flow from reaching the bed. There was no accommodation for this issue and we were stuck in a room with poor air circulation for the rest of the weekend. I would not recommend this hotel, especially at the price point. It was the worst experience at a Hilton brand hotel we have ever had.
