Water is running cascade. This sight is beautiful. I had no problem with animals.

A bear stole our food pack-- that was hanging in a tree, while we were away on a day trip late august 2022. But other than that it is a beautiful campsite.

700th the charm

A really nice place to camp, I had it to myself, likely because of the 96 steps required to access it from 61. If you arrive from the opposite direction, you avoid that.

Not sure why this is on google but it's a camp on the SHT (Superior Hiking Trail) that's definitely worth a stop if you're backpacking!

Not very flat, smaller, but next to a lovely beaver pond and close to the trailhead.

this place is a slice of heaven. we were able to grab 2 sites a few hours before sunset. very accommodating and clean grounds. spectacular location

Off season (mid-Oct to mid-May) great place for an uncrowded brisk walk or walking dog. Great in high summer season too but very popular!

A real Northwoods gem. superb hospitality. Nice and quiet. Great for tent camping, RV, and rustic cabins.

We talked to the caretakers and they said they have been trying to get the Forest Service or whoever takes care of these things to correct the problem.

Was cold everyday,rained all the time, almost died, pretty place tho
