R J Mehrman & Sons Plumbing

Was given the name of a plumber thru a friend's sister's husband, Ben. Made an appointment with him for the next day at 4:30pm, after he finished work he said. The next day he says he won't do it because my friends sisters husband's brother had some falling out with Ben apparently. So if I needed services I had to call RJ MEHRMAN & SONS to schedule as that is where he said he worked. So first of all, moonlighting as ur boss's competitor and then doing business so unprofessionally is not how u treat the customer nor your employer! Of course when I called they couldn't get someone out until the end of the week... thanks Ben for making an appointment then last minute canceling for such a childish reason. That's what small claims court is for, that's where he should have taken his situation with whomever owes him $$... not someone experiencing a plumbing emergency!

Had a very bad experience with Mehrman. The first visit was good, so I hired for the second. It took almost 2 months for them to finish simple fixes - they disappeared without notice and never got in touch. When they did finish and I was sent the bill it was absolutely exorbitant - no way the work cost that much. The explanation given was the trips to Menards, which were poorly planned and many - something I should not have to pay for. When I called to discuss he was defensive and argumentative, not at all good customer service and very bad attitude. Would NEVER use again.
