We enjoyed:
- a clean room with an incredible view overlooking Lake Superior
- the welcoming and cozy entryway, with care to detail (coffee and tea available, and other touches as well, such as freshly baked cookies, bottled water, and Dum Dum suckers in the lobby)
- the well-staffed front desk, with 2 - 3 knowledgeable employees available whenever I walked by
- the dog-friendly environment, with ample walking opportunities, waste bags, and trash bins nearby
- an incredible breakfast, available 6 AM to 10 AM (that included make-your-own waffles with copious toppings, eggs, donuts, bagels, cereal, sausages or bacon, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, milk, and juice) made by Carol and Dwayne, who are exceptional at, and clearly take both care and pride in, their work.
- close proximity to Canal Park Brewery, as well as many shops and other restaurants
- cable TV, mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in the room
- a pool and hot tub with plenty of clean towels and comfortable seating in a warm, clean environment.
- I didn't utilize the following amenities but appreciate knowing they were there in case we needed them: Wi-Fi, snack station, vending, washer and dryer, a workout room, a business center, and meeting rooms.
This was a great experience for our family and I highly recommend it for others!

My family of 4 had a great stay. The hotel was well located, with a beautiful view of Lake Superior. The property was fresh, clean and comfortable. The staff were all welcoming and accommodating. We had asked in advance for a vegan breakfast option, and they provided us with soy milk. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. The snacks available for purchase were fairly priced.
