The Doubletree Hotel is located in a convenient area 15 minutes from everywhere you want to be.
The hotel rooms are dated and not very clean, the AC/Heaters do not regulate the temperature well. We stayed 4 nights as a family and had difficulty getting our room serviced even after requesting it twice. We ended up putting our dirty towels and dishes out in the hall.
The restaurant food quality/value is sub par. I wouldn't recommend it unless your desperate about the location. There are more modern options close by.

I decided to book a room for some peace and quiet. I also decided to splurge a little bit, and book myself the Junior King Suite with a jacuzzi in the room.
The hotel is located not far from the highway, and there are a few fast food places and a restaurant near the hotel. There is plenty of parking available as well. When I checked in it was pretty busy as they had a few very large groups staying there so finding a parking space was a little difficult.
There were 2 people working but only one was checking people in so I had to wait a little bit before getting my room. I was offered their signature chocolate chip cookies and a bottle of water upon checking in.
The room itself is very nice, there is a fridge and microwave. There are also 2 chairs and, a sofa along with a king size bed, and 2 large windows. Plenty of lighting, but only one side of the bed has outlets.
The room was not the cleanest. The inside of the fridge was dirty. The bathroom tub and sink was also dirty. I was excited to relax in the jacuzzi, but that was short lived. I ran the water, and once it was filled I turned on the jets. All kinds of crap came out of the jets. It was gross! Who knows the last time that thing had a proper cleaning. I was highly disappointed especially because of the price I paid for the room.
These rooms need to be a lot cleaner for the amount of money that charged, especially the suites. If you book here I do not recommend the Junior suite.
Lastly I did not like how I felt rushed to check out. Check out is supposed to be at 12, but they were knocking at my door at 11:00 asking when I was leaving.
