Paul was exceedingly easy to work with. He walked me through the process, kept me updated and informed, and worked seamlessly with my insurance (USAA), even when they sorta ghosted at the end. The roof installation was super quick and it looks great. No issues at all.

In May 2022 we experienced hail damage to our roof and siding. An insurance agent referred us to Paul at Grand Exteriors. The lengthy insurance review and approval process (over a year for the siding) was arduous and at times contentious. Paul expertly supported the entire process by providing relevant guidance, photos and supporting documentation to the carrier and he attended all insurance inspections.
The work crews were professional, timely completed the work, conscientious in cleanup and, without exception, were courteous and responsive.
Casey, Paul and their work crews provided superior support during the insurance review and approval process and installing our new roofing and siding. I highly recommend Grand Exteriors for your roofing and siding needs.

Two starts because the work is finished, but it was a nightmare to get there.
The communication was rough, and at every point I felt that I was set up for an expectation that wasn't met. Things like (unprompted) telling me what an amazing job they will do cleaning up after themselves so I don't have to worry about my pets to then leaving our back gate open for our dogs to escape, and finding nails everywhere on the driveway (I did get a flat tire around the time, I assume from this but never knew 100%), and lots of sharp nails in our outdoor cat enclosure, which was the specific area they assured me wouldn't have an issue. These kinds of things alone are annoying but not a huge deal, until it's conpunded with lack of professional communication, and lack of integrity in doing what they say that they will or ever trying to make it right. A portion of my home needed repair along with the roof and while I was assured numerous times by the project manager (Kyle) it would get fixed at the next step, it wasn't never fixed. Ultimately they came out to tell me they wouldn't be fixing it, despite over and over being told the opposite. And while I understand that these things do happen, the lack of apologetic response and lack of accountability makes me wish I never chose them in the first place. I was an easy roof to get after a hail storm and that's all they wanted in my opinion, after some hindsight.
At one point I even called the main office requesting I speak to anyone else because I was having such a a difficult time getting answers, was told my someone that someone would be contacting me, and they never did. I spent the next 48 hours trying to get the project managers own manager to call me, was assured he would, and I never did get any communication. Awful. On top of that, the work was quite drawn out and no communications about backorders, etc unless I was constantly asking for updates.
I don't recommend Grand Exterior, especially if you're looking for honest communication and integrity.
UPDATE 3/25-After I posted this review, Casey did reach out to me. There was suddenly something else we could do that wasn't offered originally when I was expressing my concerns. While they did offer to complete the work they had originally promised for free, we did opt to go with a different company that we felt had more integrity and honesty. If you do have problems I highly recommend posting a review so that they are addressed!

Paul Graff did a great job managing my project. His crew was reliable and they were here before 8 AM and wrapped up by around 5:00. They were professional and never played loud music or smoked on the property. The team at the office was great too and they took time to review the financial details with me. So great! It was nice to talk business with Paul as I am also a licensed realtor. I will keep some cards on hand as I am very please with the work and level of professionalisn on this Kingfield project.
