Brent came to look at a slow drip in the main water line just before the main water shutoff valve for the house. He was pretty sure it just needed tightening at the union, but he also thought that the valve itself should be replaced with a better quality valve. We agreed to have that done, even though it would require someone from the city to come out to shut the water off at the street. We paid for the initial evaluation, then for the 2nd visit to actually do the job. He did a professional job, and all is good. It would have been nice if the cost of the initial visit was credited against the repair visit, but I guess thats not how it works. He did give us a $50 discount however, so that is appreciated.
