Best hotel in Austin hands down! Family run business, clean rooms and one of the cheapest rates in town. Oh and did I mention the pool and hot tub are open until midnight!

I came to stay at this hotel to visit some friends from out of town and catch up. While I was there, my car was hit over night in the parking lot by a dumb drunk driver. But thankfully the hotel staff was so helpful.. i was devastated to wake up to the police informing me my car was hit. But the hotel manager was amazing. He reviewed the footage and is going to be providing it to the police to help me with this whole process. The hotel manager was out of town when this all happened, but he made it his priority to contact me right away when he got back in the morning. The breakfast was amazing, my daughter really enjoyed the quality of the breakfast. The older gentleman who works at the front desk was very nice, he saw how upset I was when I found out about my car being hit and he came over to provide comfort and offered me a coffee. I really have an overall good experience and if I come back to Austin, I will certainly be staying here. The manager even offered me a discount on my room when I do come back as a courtesy and I couldn't be more thankful.

Really a nice place to spend time if your in Austin. No doubt..the nicest in town. It's clean and the staff is friendly. They have a great breakfast too. Nearby activities: SPAM MUSEUM..DOWNTOWN STROLLING..REALLY..REALLY GOOD FOOD AT THE OAK GRILL AND PIGGY BLUES. Safety: Small town feeling with a police station right downtown. Food & drinks: Good southern Minnesota fare. Next time we will try the old mill which was very highly recommended by the owner of the WYNDHAM we stayed at. They have a terrific breakfast there. Wouldn't stay anywhere else on our next trip up.
