Allenwood Dental - Woodhaven

I am TERRIFIED of the dentist. Skydiving, bungee jumping, combat, delivered a baby no epidural I have done all of those things, however the dentist terrifies me due to two horrible experiences as a kid and one as an adult I am probably the most nervous, difficult, patient. Even though I try my best. This office helped me, they were kind, I was comfortable and that says a lot for me . If you need a dentist choose this one. I hope that this dentist will keep me as a patient because of his kindness I am getting better and he gives me the courage to keep coming back. If I could give a million stars I would. I will bring our son here and he is 3. Thank you to Dr. G and your lovely staff.

I never leave reviews but unfortunately, my experience at Allenwood Dental was not the best. My son is 2years old and on the spectrum for autism, the Dentist kept making comments about how loud my son was and even asked my 6year old daughter Is he always like this. Ive been to other offices and NEVER had this issue nor have I had a dentist make snarky comments about my son and he did multiple times. This office is closer to my house so I figured that I would try it out and that was a mistake. They did nothing for my son because the dentist didnt want to in his words Im not going to do anything. If you have children on the spectrum I suggest not going to this office. I will definitely be sticking with kids first dentistry even if the drive is a bit further.

Do yourself a favor if you have extreme dental anxiety choose this dentist .  The dentist is amazing, I was comfortable, and I sincerely hope he keeps me as his patient. He is helping un-do what a lot of previous dentists did to cause this anxiety.   The staff is lovely.  Thank you for your help. If I could give a million stars I would.  Even if you don't have dental anxiety choose this office anyway they will take good care of you . Anyone who can handle me as a patient deserves a gold medal !  Thank you again !
