Family camp was okay. Went with my family for one week. The counselors are as sweet as pie. The activities are things that I've never done before but they were very fun. The cabins are spider infested take bug killer spray, make sure to bring your own bedding. There are bare mattresses. The bathrooms have mold and spiders in the showers, take water shoes you do not want to step in there bare foot. At least they had warm water which was nice. The food was atrocious. They gave horrible breakfast, the lunch was decent, the dinner was by far the worse meal of the day. They only gave water to drink so bring your own drink. Take your own food, snacks and a cooler. There's lots of bugs everywhere. They'll fly in your eyes so take sun glasses. You will most def need a flashlight to go to the bathroom at night. I don't think I'd ever go there again.

My spouse and I had the most magical wedding at Camp Pinewood. We love being in nature so being able to use most of the camp space made the weekend incredibly special for us and our guests. The staff was really helpful and accommodating when we needed them and otherwise they let us be. The majority of the guests (along with us) were part of the lgbtq+ community and everyone reported back that they had a positive experience interacting with staff. We did not do any of the camp activities during the weekend (not enough time) but we did have the camp provide our rehearsal dinner, smores, and Sunday breakfast. Both meals were good and included vegan/vegetarian options. They built one of the best campfires Ive ever seen for our smores! Overall, the experience was incredible and more than I could have ever hoped for. I hope we can come back to celebrate an anniversary in the future!
