LR Management Services Corporation

I have been trying to get ahold of my leasing agent and she is outright ignoring me. Corporate was supposed to call me back yesterday and did not. I will have no other choice than to file in small claims again LR Management. Long story short they are trying to steal my entire security deposit, I have proof of all the details of breaking my lease and what they are doing is illegal. I gave 60 days notice and paid them the amount to break the lease. They are sending me a check for $34. Out of $825. They are ripping me off and will do the exact same to you. I'll make sure to leave my experience on all the platforms I can. And ignoring me is totally unprofessional. I will also make a complaint to the BBB.

I live in an apartment complex where neighbors clearly have an issue with certain people. They bang on walls, my tires have been slashed all at Bainbridge Apartments. I called Kyle Lonn with LR and told him how unsafe I felt at my apartment, and asked to be released, out of fear something will happen to me. His response, 3 months rent to vacate. Kyle even mentioned to my leasing manager the size of my security deposit, its clear the company values profit over residence safety. God got me so Ill be alright, but I would never recommend LR.

Highly recommend LR Management to anyone seeking a reliable and trustworthy management company. You can tell through many experiences that communication is prioritized throughout the properties as well as the owners always trying to make each community better in anyway they can. 10/10!

This may be a long review, but I HIGHLY(!) encourage you read it before applying! Once you sign you are LOCKED IN! My fianc and I decided to apply at the Edge at Novi apartments, as we really liked the apartment layout/storage space they had, and the renovations are nice. Upon getting the lease agreement (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU THOROUGHLY READ!), I noticed some strange terms that I had never seen before. When I questioned them about it, they were MAD I was even asking! What kind of management company gets upset when you are inquiring about the terms? Dont you think you would want to explain it the best you can so we WOULD WANT TO SIGN IT? But no, they were rude about it. We ultimately decided not to sign it and asked for our deposit back. They said no because it was already 3 days past our approval date. THEY WAITED ALMOST 3 DAYS TO SEND IT TO US! Angelicas excuses were, I was too busy the day I approved you and didnt work the next day, as if no one else is ever in the leasing office? And why would I back out after getting approved when I havent even read the lease yet! That makes no sense! And its not ON US that you didnt send it on time! Angelica should have had that lease already prepped and ready to send the moment she called me to approve us. Especially because they told me that its a standard apartment association agreement when I asked about the lease. If its so standard, that means it should all be written out and pretty much ready to go. But no, they had to wait almost 3 days. Its almost like they dont WANT you to read the lease, they want you to just sign it. Otherwise why would the manager get so upset when we asked about it? It also seems like they wait days to send it so you feel obligated to sign it. Do you want to be out of over $400 after the ridiculous application fees, credit check fees, and deposit? Of course not, so it makes you want to just sign it so you dont lose money. ASK FOR THE LEASE THE DAY YOU APPLY SO YOU CAN READ IT! IF THEY REFUSE, THAT IS A HUUUGGEE RED FLAG! and if you do apply and get approved, DEMAND THEY SEND IT TO YOU THE SAME DAY! If Angelica says that shes, too busy then immediately back out and get your money back! If theyre going to give you a time limit, THEY SHOULD IMMEDIATELY SEND IT! Trust the previous reviews of this management company! They take people to court over EVERYTHING and charge ridiculous fees! We dodged a HUGE BULLET not staying here. I wouldnt be surprised if they tried to take me to court over this review, but I legitimately have all the receipts as proof, so I dont recommend they try. It is the truth!! I will forever look up apartment management companies before I even apply now that I have experienced this! I wanted to write this so people dont get taken advantage of. Ultimately living here is up to you, but make sure you feel 100% comfortable with the terms before you are locked in!! Good luck on your apartment search!
