Cute stop while on the peninsula

Nice shaded picnic area. There is no real beach. Water is shallow, weedy, and the bottom is somewhat mucky. Fun for kids to explore the aquatics, but not really swim.

Flapjack and Flannel Festival, part of Traverse City Beer Week. We looked forward to this event and had a beautiful day as well!

Quiet and peaceful hiking trail. Some hills and fallen logs to maneuver. Very much enjoyed our visit.
