My gosh, it's been 3 weeks since I visited the Southfield store and told myself to submit a review. I'm glad I remembered because I wanted to let everyone know that the associate who assisted me was a consummate professional. Jordan was fantastic. Any retailer would be fortunate to have a team player like Jordan. I didn't get a chance to see the names of 2 associates (I think they were managers) who were in the middle of handling a customer situation where the customer was being unreasonable. They both remained calm and collected and walked the customer through resolution. The staff at the Ulta Southfield location deserve praise and recognition.

This location is UNPROFESSIONAL. Sephora just gained a customer! Ulta really dropped the ball on my pick up order. They gave me the tester instead of the actual product, which is so unprofessional and gross. How do you work for the company yet pack up the tester in an order pickup? They clearly dont know how to do their job. Now I have to go out of my way to go back to the store and get a new one. Talk about wasting my time!

Came into this store today because I had a formal interview and just wanted a simple, natural looking, face makeup. I made Melanie aware and I came out looking like a clown. The worst $45 I have ever spent. I ended up going over to Meijers and buying make up wipes and taking the whole thing off. 10/10 do not recommend getting your make up done here. Im not sure what cosmetology school she went to but she should not do anyones make up. She made me look worse than when I came in with nothing on.

I am very pleased with my visit at this location. Jordan, who was extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable, assisted me in finding exactly what I was looking for. I am very happy with the products that she recommended to me.

I gave three stars because i was halfway satisfied! And one bad apple can ruin an experience. The heavy set, chubby African American woman with the brown shoes that lean like the brown hat on Harry Potter was very unprofessional and rude! But the young lady that came to help was super sweet and nice! I think her name was Azalia or Aurelia (excuse the mis-spelling)! She was helpful, had all the information and was patient! I ended up spending $200.00 with her and got my daughter some tic toc stuff also! I got Mens cologne! I usually go to the Bloomfield hills location! But i was in the area! This proves to be a big mistake! We have to do better as a people! Thanks for reading! If you shop there avoid the rude lady who doesnt care about customer satisfaction!
