Clear rainbow
Had an hair appointment today for 4pm, I arrive at 3:58, Tony tells me she's running behind about 20 minutes. I said "that's cool, I'll shop around". It's gets 4:40 and so I ask another employee "will I get a discount, I've been waiting 40 minutes and she said only 20 minutes" she goes on with the fake sympathy and then says "oh really??!, she said she's almost finished, okay?" (In a sweet tone ofc) come 4:45 & I'm still waiting. I got up and left. No one tried to reach out to me or offer any kind of solution or just a simply apology. My thing is, if you knew you were going to be running behind, why didn't you call me and let me know you were running behind and that I should come at 5pm? Instead have me waiting there like Time isn't precious or like time isn't money. I am patient, for 20 minutes, but almost an hour, that's insane, unprofessional, and a hell no. You know us black girls don't play about our hair and it especially being an all black employee store, y'all should definitely know that. You reach out and let your customers know beforehand and there won't be any problems. Don't get me wrong, they were all nice and friendly, but having someone wait almost an hour without no prior notice before the appointment, is downright wrong.

jordan and robin were SO amazing. they helped greatly and their customer service is pleasant to be around!! i will definitely be going back to this location-i hope i see them on my future visits :)

I went to the Ulta in Southfield. It was my first time in there. First I wanted to say the store was exceptionally clean and beautiful inside. I was there for a hair appointment for my grandmother. She has Alzheimers disease and when the stylist Tonita was ready for her my grandmother put on quite a show. The end result was she ended up not getting her hair done. I tried to pay the stylist anyway for the inconvenience but she wouldnt take it. She was very gracious and I appreciated that. Overall the experience was great! Great staff very friendly I would definitely recommend going here!!!!
