Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Saginaw

Nice location and the rooms were comfortable but breakfast was horrible. The only thing that was good for breakfast was the orange juice.

Look someplace else. Noise transfer from upper floor is terrible, the thin floors make even footsteps or the shower from the floor above enough to wake you. The carpets are worn with some areas bald and generally dated interiors. Lastly the management and staff werent very responsive to the upper floor noise problems and the last straw causing me to write this is they randomly charged extra fees to my credit card after checking out. Theres a dozen hotels nearby that are nicer, look elsewhere!

The hotel was in dire need of repairs and updates. Upon arrival, the parking lot was poorly maintained. There were potholes everywhere and parking lines were virtually undetectable. As a Titanium member, I was thanked for my status, but not offered points or a gift. I was informed that the gym was closed and was not offered an alternate and I was also told one of the heaters for the pool was not working. The sign on the pool made it appear the heater just stopped working that day, but the gym had been closed for a while. The room was old and outdated. The water hardly got hot and the shower drain didnt drain properly. Overall, this is probably the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed at and I will be sure to avoid this property in the future. Rooms: Room was outdated and shower hardly worked.
