SpringHill Suites by Marriott Saginaw

Great hotel rooms! Spacious and very clean. Comfy beds. Very nice and helpful staff.

1st room we got, the fan was broken, and the next room was pretty load at 11pm. But the guy up front was super nice and moved us to a different room. Was way better, but unfortunately, the bathroom had some mold by around the shower. Overall, it wasn't bad for the price.

The service was top notch, the staff was friendly and inving. However, that is where it ends. Rooms seemed outdated. One TV (older one too) to go between rooms for us. We did have an accessible room, so not sure if that is why? Beds were uncomfortable and mattress was quite old. It seemed clean. We just were expecting more from Springhill Suites. Pool was extremely chlorinated. My eyes were burning and I wasn't even in pool. I wanted to give a better review as we are Marriot fans, but not a fan of this particular one in Saginaw.

There are parts of this hotel that are badly in need of attention. Other parts have been recently freshened up. Our room needed basic maintenance in a way that is obvious but left undone. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and hardworking from everything I can tell. However there is neglect in places that are long-term and above their pay grade. The fitness room needs a total overhaul. Their great staff deserves a great hotel across the board. Sadly this falls well short.
