Downtown Inn

I was disappointed in the room. Shower wasn't very hot, warm at best, bed was uncomfortable, but the worst for me was the paper thin walls. I could hear the people upstairs stomping around, shaking my room, and when I was moved to a new room it was just as bad. Was here for work trip, and barely got any sleep. Rooms: Visually, the rooms look nice. It felt very clean when I walked in, and didn't have a dirty feel to it. However, visually is all the rooms have. Bed uncomfortable, paper thin walls, and lukewarm showers. Nearby activities: There is a vast amount of shops, taverns, and little restaurants that you can visit. I really liked the nearby ice cream shop, and sushi joint. If I had more time i would have loved to visit the local taverns a bit more. Walkability: Great location, walkable to all of what main street has to offer in downtown Rochester. I really liked checking out the river walk, and the local eateries. Definitely a good location for accessibility. Noteworthy details: Customer service. I will say I did have friendly and fast customer service. When I was having issues entering my room, a staff was very friendly and willing to help me. When I was having issues with noise, and texted them they were quick to accommodate me in getting moved to another room. I also love their self check in system, and their text message support setup.

The power went out in the whole room just because I plugged my blow dryer in. Cold the whole night with no heat. Showers were cold with no hot water.

Stayed overnight for a business meeting in the area the room was clean, the bed was comfy and the price was great.
