Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Buffalo, MI, an IHG Hotel

Marla checked us in on April 7th she was fantastic sweet kind and helpful what an amazing employee and we saw the eclipse drove to tipton Nearby activities: The lake (Michigan)isn't far at all what an unexpected treat Walkability: Stores food Food & drinks: The complimentary breakfast was just what we needed for 4-8-24

We stayed for 2 days Perfect spot close to the highway and to the casino. The hotel has a swimming pool, hot tub and free breakfast in the morning which was stocked very well with eggs, sausage, muffins and so much more. Very clean eating area and hotel The rooms are very clean but the rugs could use some updating. Hallway smells like weed here and there but i guess thats to be expected today since its legal. Reasonably priced and close to down town new Buffalo which is right down the street Rooms: There is no microwave in the room but it is in the hallway by the elevators We had a small fridge in our room which had two beds. Rug needs a cleaning Walkability: The gas station and McDonalds are within walking distance Casino is 5 minutes away

Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was stocked and fresh!

For this price we should not have to go to the front desk to ask for toilet paper! Toilet was seat was broken/ towels and wash rags were like sandpaper. But the worse part was the phone. We went to bed and the phone rang every hour for no reason. After a few times of being woke by this we had to take it off the hook. In the morning we put it back on the hook and it continued to ring. I went to the front desk to get toilet paper and tell them to fix toilet and phone and she said no problem.. but did not ask me what room. So good luck to the next guest! Overall we did not get a good nights sleep.
