O'Brien Inn & Resort

My husband was doing a job in this town. The company booked at this hotel not knowing what they were getting into. The place was disgusting!!! There was old food items underneath the bed, bugs and a dead frog in the hallway. This place needs a thorough cleaning and needs to be redone.....needless to say they will never recommend this "hotel" to anyone. Oh and by the way his suitcase will not be coming into our house for at least a week...who knows what could be living in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel was clean. Older structure you can tell they are trying to keep it up. Breakfast was just okay(pastries, muffins, cereal) nothing fantastic. Booked two rooms for two families- was told one price was charged 2 different prices $20 difference. Called about being over charged staff was not overly friendly, says it will take up to 30 days to refund their mistake.

This place was awful and reminded of a dump I took last week. I felt so gross I didnt even want to shower or eat the crappy breakfast. I would make sure that if you are planning a trip to New Buffalo you book a hotell a few months in advance so that you dont have to stay here. We love visiting the area but will be paying the few extra bucks to stay somewhere else next time. The rooms were very dated and the ceiling looked like it had water damage in the past. I could not believe this place was even still in business since it looked so old and gross. The beds were the worst I had ever slept on and left my back feeling like crap the next day. I cant think of one thing that was good about the place. The price was also outrageous we paid $130 to stay here thinking it would be nice since the name said it was a resort. Dont be fooled this is not a resort it is a crummy old hotel that has not had an improvement since 1985 except the computer that reminded me of when we had AOL. We didnt look at the reviews before our stay but hopefuly you will be more aware of what this place is like.

Great parking lot, well lit. Also have semi parking lot. Place is out dated. Chairs stained. this place could be great. Room was clean.
