First time visiting, we'll be sure to return each year we're in the area if at all possible! The owner Jay is so wonderfully personable, providing exceptional guest support and ensuring comfort throughout the stay. Jessica is a great support specialist who reflects true dedication. She's a talent who makes the guest's stay even more enjoyable. This hotel's new owner made our stay a fantastic experience. Nearby activities: Kayaking Food & drinks: Continental breakfast served each morning, coffee and juice provided. Ice available, soft drinks and ice cream available for a nominal fee. Restaurants within a short drive. Noteworthy details: Pool and Hot Tub on premises. Hot tub is in process of being repaired.

THE Ausable Valley Inn is a Great Place to stay The staff is very Nice & Accomadating we have going up there now for the past 5 years when it was the old owners but the new owners went above and beyond to the best of their ability Our family had A Great Time Rooms: The Rooms were very Nice and accomadating Nearby activities: A place to eat play games watch movies visit

We have had a family reunion with our children and grand children at the Ausable Valley Inn for 6 years now. This year we had 13 rooms with 33 of us staying. Sarah and Randy were always very accommodating to our family. Their staff always very friendly and helpful. We wish Randy and Sarah God's blessings in all their next endeavors. We always have enjoyed the small hometown feel. We loved having the pool and hot tub and in the evenings a campfire. Jay the new owner at the Mio Ausable Inn went above and beyond to make it a great stay for all of us this weekend. When we got to the hotel this weekend we got to witness the old owners Randy and Sarah literally handing over the business to Jay. Jay acquired a hotel with an empty broken hot tub. He heard our disappointment as we realized the hot tub was empty and out of order. Bless him he made a huge attempt to try and get it up and running for us. He made sure we had dry kindling wood for our fire as it had rained hard the 2 previous days. Jay called us on the way home and thanked us for coming and staying, assuring he will have the hot tub up and working next time we come. The staff was very friendly and personable and catered to all our needs. Thank you Jay, Jessica and Justin for making it a great stay for our family. We will look forward to coming again! Rooms: The rooms were neat and clean , each room had a small fridge and Microwave. Nearby activities: The Ausable River is a great place to canoe, kyak or tube down during the summer. If you like amusement parks there is Cedar Valley's Wild Frontier fun Park on Weaver Road in Comins (just ten minutes from hotel) In August there is an Amish relief sale which has great music and lots of beautiful quilts that are auctioned and lots of interesting things to look at. We always enjoy Mio Pizza, The Farmer's Creamery and the Paddle Inn in Mio, and the Fairview Coffee Shop and Bakery as well. Noteworthy details: We really enjoyed the pool and also our time around the campfire. Saturday night we brought in pizza from Mio Pizza and lots of other fun food and appreciated the use of the the common / breakfast room and lobby to eat visit and play games.
