1. Opening at 10am and closing at 6pm with limited weekend hours helps no one with a job. Ill take time off work for my dentist, not to buy a new cell phone. 2. I bought a phone from Verizon online. Smooth, easy, streamlined process that took me mere minutes. Verizon advised that my trade in could be mailed OR taken into a store. Which is what I elected to do because I was going up to Ludington anyways. They finally opened up after I waited in the parking lot for 15 minutes. Ken? Kev? Not sure greeted me and asked what I needed. I told him I was dropping off a phone. Instant confusion. I clarified repeatedly it was a trade in. That I bought a phone online, and the online representative told me I could drop my old phone off at the retail store. Still confused. He kept asking if I had a box and shipping label. I asked if it was a problem if I didnt. He asked if I had the box and shipping label again. I dont think he was picking up that I obviously didnt, and what I have is what I have. I told him maybe I should go to another store. He seemed more than ok with that. Like seriously I have a pretty easy transaction to make. I give you phone, you ask for account information, I leave. Instead I get looked at like I have three heads. Bottom line- this retail store went way downhill. Ive been to a few Verizon stores. All very helpful (besides Muskegons when COViD was happening, but thats understandable) Retail is detail guys
