KDI Kitchen and Bath

My wife and I are remodeling our townhouse in Plymouth, MI and wanted to reduce the overall size of a peninsula counter that divides our kitchen from the dining/living room areas. KDI Kitchen and Bath in Livonia came in and saved the day! They took over our project from someone we regretfully engaged, who after stripping the laminate off the existing countertop, abandoned the job (see pic - yuck!). This was a blessing in disguise! KDI Kitchen and Bath came to our home, listened to and understood what we wanted to do, took initial measurements and then provided a quote that matched our budget. While we did get quotes from two other sources, KDI was not only less expensive, but we were reassured by the fact they are a long standing brick and mortar store in our area, and are licensed and insured. We chose a new wood plank design from a wide selection of laminates that is a nice contrast to the existing kitchen cabinets and also goes well with new flooring we had installed. KDI's installer came out a short later, took exact measurements, created the template, and before we knew it, the new countertop was ready and installed. KDI exceeded our expectations with respect to cost, timeline, and professionalism. From the first visit to installation, we couldn't be happier with the beauty and quality of our new countertop. While this was a small project, KDI staff worked with us as if this were their own home. I'd like to close by mentioning the warmth, friendliness and professionalism of the KDI team. Everyone we worked with was just great! We will definitely reach out to KDI first for any future kitchen and bath upgrades we may do. We are so glad we chose KDI.

Was supposed to have someone come look at my tub, they never showed up. I called and left a message, no one called me back. Now when I call it goes straight to voicemail. Very unprofessional.

Have been calling and emailing for two weeks and nobody will reach back to tell me where my $7000+ order for my Kitchen cabinets is. Called the other location today to see if they could check and was told I would receive a call back this afternoon. It is after 6 as I write this. If I wanted the runaround I could have ordered from a big box store. Very sad that small businesses are going this direction. To be fair they told me they had some staffing issues due to COVID, I Get that 100% but I have been calling and emailing for WEEKS. I can understand a couple of days delay. Maybe my order just isnt big enough for them to care about. Im remodeling a bath in July and I will be looking elsewhere.
