Travelodge by Wyndham Livonia - Detroit

I believe the Almighty God wants me here until further notice. The staff is accommodating and the place is clean!!!! Come see for yourself!

Horrible the Travelodge is a joke it was a junk motel that they converted into a hotel. We checked in on February 7th for a four night stay. Needless to say we just got into town and put our luggage in the room and tried to go in with an open mind about what the outside looked like, and headed straight to my parents house as we were in town to visit. On the way back we were surprised to see that they have several people living in their motel rooms on the other side of the building. They looked like they had remodeled the interior but our door had been broken into before and it wasnt closing properly, it locked but there was a gap on the bottom of the door where it bent inwards and had been painted over several times instead of being replaced. We got there late in the evening and decided to address these issues with the room in the morning. Well when I got up in the morning I discovered that we were not the only tenants in our room apparently we had a cockroach in the bathroom. (Video down below) we were not happy with any of this and received a full refund for the night and a refund for the nights that were prepaid in advance on Priceline. It goes to show you that you can not put lipstick on a pig/dump if you dont address all these problems. I would not recommend staying at this location ever. It should be torn down and replaced instead of the greedy owners turning a profit from unsuspecting customers who think that its a hotel stay they are getting instead of a stay at the roach motel. Yuck!

Customer service is horrible, within 5 minutes of me making my reservation, I saw I made for the wrong day. I called the hotel and asked to cancel, they said I had to call price line which is where I made my reservation. Once I got ahold of Priceline they said they needed to call the hotel to get authorization to cancel. Price line called the hotel and they would not cancel my reservation this all happened within 45 minutes of me making my reservations. Poor customer service!
