Amazing! I called with some general questions about something and he was super kind and informative despite my topic not being completely part of his field. Highly recommend.

Tim graciously and effectively probated my mother's estate. He's fair, timely, communicates everything and comes highly recommended. Call him if you want your case done correctly.

Tim Klisz was an excellent lawyer for me. He represented me for the duration of over a year. He was always able to be reached, or responded in a timely manner. He was honest and very professional. He worked very hard for me, and we got favorable results! If I ever have any legal needs he will be the first person I call!

My girlfriend hired Tim for a probation violation for a no contest littering charge. The "victim" lied and claimed that my gf had contact with her violating the terms of the probation. Tim agreed to take on the case on 9/6/17. We met with him and talked for two and half hours explaining everything going on with this case. He wanted $1000 to show up to court and talk to the PO. We paid and he said he would be there on 9/20/17 for court. He later called on 9/18/17 and informed my gf that the court date was moved to 9/25/17 and he would see her there. Then on 9/21/17 he decided to drop her as a client. He didn't want to do it because my girlfriend got another charge (most likely will be dropped because it is over a misunderstanding, it is supposed to be just my charge, I don't know why she is included in it). Tim claims he was "too busy" and it was "too much" said he never even filed his appearance or cashed the check. It seems like he never had any intention of going. He was on the case for 15 days and decided to drop the case on Thursday before the court date on Monday. He claims to be straight forward and "says it like it is" but took 15 days to let us know he would not show up. It was impossible to find another lawyer on a Friday for a Monday court date, yet Mr. Klisz told me that it would be "no problem at all." So we went in without a lawyer and the PO had a great recommendation but unfortunately since no lawyer was present Judge Plakas treated her like absolute trash and threatened 30 days in jail. Mind you the defendant prior to my gf went up with a court appointed lawyer for punching a woman in the face over road rage, pled guilty, and got only 6 months non reporting probation and anger management classes. If Mr. Klisz would have showed up like he had agreed to, Plakas would listen to him. He claims to do very well in front of Plakas. So he screwed us over and the judge only gave us 7 days to find an attorney before the next date (while giving every other defendant 14 days). Also Tim sent a letter acting like he did such a huge favor not charging for the two and a half hours we spent explaining the case and a few phone calls. He wouldn't give a straight answer on the phone as to why he couldn't at least show up for the date on Monday and then we could find another attorney for the next date. He said we would be fine going in alone. The PO recommended two days work detail, if she would have had an attorney she might have gotten that instead of being threatened with jail. Mr. Klisz is wishy washy and could drop you at the last minute leaving you unrepresented and vulnerable in court. Don't trust his friendly and outgoing demeanor. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing, just like most lawyers. (EDIT) Ended up hiring Jonathan Jones in Royal Oak. Paid half of what Tim Klisz wanted and he ended up being aggressive, effective, and got the result we wanted. When we met with him the first thing he did was type up and fax over his appearance. He wasn't afraid to argue with the judge and stand up for his client. He destroyed the so called "victim" on the witness stand and made her show her true colors as a liar and the real malicious one. Will be continuing to hire Mr. Jones for all our legal needs. He's the real deal.

Mr. Klisz is a super bright attorney who helped us get through some legal difficulties without fault. He treated us like family and I'm forever grateful. He put us at ease from the onset. He always made time for our questions and was super easy to get ahold of. I'd recommend Mr. Klisz to anyone without a doubt.
