Rent a U-Haul elsewhere unless youre really desperate. Rented for 23 miles for about two hours. Initial charge was $58 for initial rental fee and mileage charge which was expected, but then they added other charges including: cleaning fee, refuel fee, and a Afterhour service fee. Go to a more reputable U-Haul station.

I helped a friend move today. I want to clarify first that this is the first time my friend has used a U-Haul so she didn't know to reserve one ahead of time lol. So to be fair, when we showed up, Ed was courteous and got us into an available truck as soon as he was done attending to another customer with a reservation. Ed seemed like a nice guy, but overall, our experience was far from professional. Google lists the business as opening at 9:00 AM. We arrived shortly after 10:00 AM and no one was there. We waited several minutes before anyone showed up. The truck was clean and in fairly good condition, but only had a quarter of a tank of gas. Prior to returning the truck, we filled the tank up to a half a tank of gas. We were supposed to have the truck back by 5:15 PM; we arrived about 4:00 PM. Again, no one was there, even though the "Open" sign was lit. There is a Mobile1 mechanic there and they called Ed. My friend spoke to Ed via this Mechanic's phone. She explained the gas tank situation as we feared returning the truck without a full tank would cause her to be charged. To Ed's credit, he said he'd take care of it. However, we're not sure what that means. My friend did the return through the website and she was charged $121 for the fuel! We only drove 10.4 miles! I recognize the biggest issue here is U-Haul, the company. But as I said, overall, this was a negative experience. You may want to consider another location if renting a truck.
