GLCR does NOT prescribe pain meds (which many physicians do not). They will prescribe Motrin. Another physician of mine prescribed Meloxicam and this is much better than Motrin. I am surprised that GLCR did not try Meloxicam. I have been going there for years! Lastly, NONE of the physicians at either of their locations will fill out disability forms! This is a rheumatology office with many disabled patients. I do not understand why they will NOT complete disability forms. At your appointment, they ask your pain level, maybe do labs, hand you your checkout form and say see you in four months. They are making a fortune!!!

I hesitated sharing my experience here as I just transferred to the east location. I am looking forward to seeing Dr. June and this review is in no way a reflection on him. I had a follow up visit here about two weeks ago. While there, I expressed that I had been struggling with a significantly increased heart rate following an illness in September. I mentioned this to both the nurse/tech and the PA, Timothy Palmer. My heart rate and blood pressure were never checked, despite them being listed in my chart as having been done. When my primary care heard about my heart rate, I was immediately sent for testing to verify that I do not have a pulmonary embolism due to multiple risk factors. *Edited with update. Thankfully, I do not, but there was a great deal of urgency by my primary care over this as if it had been positive, I would have been in significant danger. In addition to this, the Mr. Palmer read off the wrong set of labs (older labs, not the most recent) when I expressed concern that my lab work had come back elevated again, and told me that he thought it came back high because I am overweight. At my previous appointment, he had alluded to it possibly being an indicator of cancer. My first two visits were nowhere near as awful as this one, and I sincerely hope that no other patients EVER go through this with this office.

Best in the area, IMO. This is the 3rd rheumatologists practice I've been to. Dr. June listens and is very knowledgeable. Sometimes, he's running behind. But it's because he spends the amount of time his patients require from him. I've included a photo of the downstairs lobby for this year's holiday season. It's so cozy!
