When dr. Joe was there it was a great office to go to. Unfortunately, after going through 4 different doctors (multiple change of care appointments) in a little over a year, miscommunication constantly, or lack of communication when leaving messages and getting no response I think it's time to look for a new doctors office. Denise seems to be the only one in the office willing to take the time to help patients.

They rescheduled an appointment and when I showed up they said they could see I was supposed to have an appointment but they messed up. So rescheduled for the following week. Arrived 5 minutes early, stood at reception window for 10 minutes (on a sore foot which was the main reason I came in) while group of staff talked and did not acknowledge me. I almost left but stuck it out. Staffing issues, best NP left, time to find a new doctor. My last appointment was supposed to be a physical but previous doctor said to schedule it for next time. Finally got a physical today with a new NP who was actually really great so that helped.

Id have given 0 stars if that was possible. This practice does little to nothing to care for their patients, as long as you keep having 5-10 min appointments with them so they can bill insurance and get paid. And dont expect a returned phone call if youre trying to sort out a situation. Theyll just duck and run. 5 1/2 years of being a patient and when the doctor retires, youre just screwed, even though you were proactive about getting the situation resolved before both he retires and you move out-of-state. Even there referrals are horrible. I was diagnosed with a chronic disease and the specialist they referred me too was, by my new specialist I found, completely mishandling my treatments. DO NOT RECOMMEND - FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR.

I previously had a positive experience as a patient of Dr. Kozlowski, who was intelligent, empathetic, and charismatic. He successfully treated me for an addiction. However, after his retirement, I met with Dr. Meier, and my experience was notably different. Dr. Meier's approach to medicine struck me as outdated and paternalistic. He seems to believe that patients should be passive and follow the doctors instructions without question. This was a stark contrast to the collaborative treatment approach I had experienced before. During our appointment, Dr. Meier did not engage in a discussion about my past treatment. Instead, he expressed his opinion that addiction is a choice and informed me that he would not continue my medication. This approach not only disregarded my medical history but also felt dismissive of the complexities surrounding addiction. Additionally, I found Dr. Meier to be somewhat arrogant in his interactions, possessing none of the Dr. Koz's charm. His staff consistently called me by the wrong name, only realizing their error by referencing the patient chart, rather than using basic identifiers like date of birth, which affected the level of personal care I felt.

I have never had a worse experience with a medical provider in my entire life. I have been going to this practice for years, however, many providers have recently left, including my primary provider. Today I saw Pa-Nhia Yang-Murray. If you would like to collaborate on your health with your doctor, this is not a provider you should see. This provider is a medical chauvinist who believes that she dictates treatment, and your job is simply to do what she says. Without any current labs, and the first time I had ever been seen by her, Yang-Murray dictated that I would need to take statins for the rest of my life. I am 32 years old. Yang-Murray also informed me that she would no longer refill my Xanax prescription moving forward, which is 5 .25mg pills per year. I have a long documented history of anxiety attacks, I go to therapy for severe anxiety, and I take a long-term antidepressant for anxiety and depression. I have been historically prescribed 5 pills of Xanax/year for emergency anxiety attacks. For this "doctor" to see me for the first time, and in about 2 minutes, totally overhaul my course of treatment without any discussion or understanding of me, my background, or my recent lab data is stunningly arrogant and doctor-centric. Beyond all of that, this office requires you to wear a mask, answer covid questions, and get your temperature taken immediately upon entering. The office, however, does not offer a Covid vaccine, and the staff do not wear masks when interacting amongst one-another. This place is a joke. Just find another provider.
