Great staff very friendly. The room I stayed in was wonderful as well seem to be brand new. The hotel is located across the street from starbucks and is attached to lofts and meijers as well. The workout room was fully functional as well. You do have to pay for parking 13 flat rate for the night

We have had nothing but great experiences with this hotel. We cannot thank Janice, Emma and so many others for taking such wonderful care of us with each encounter. Janice made sure that we were able to get a room so that I could be close to my sister at Sparrow Hospital so I could be with her at the end of her life. (Being super close matter's especially when I live in TN).
I cannot commend Janice and the entire staff enough for not only their professionalism but also for their compassion and comfort in our time of need.
The room is always very clean. We love the Keurig for when time is of the essence.
Pro Tip: bring your own Keurig capsules/ Tea/Instant coffee singles if you want strong yummier tea/coffee!
OR- just pop next door to the awesome Meijer shopping experience for those things.
(Marriott staff is impeccable, but the extra bonus is the store next door). Don't lay your head anywhere else.
Starbucks and Bigby coffee are right there. I love to get up early and get a coffee for a couple bucks downstairs before anyone is up and around. Heck, Starbucks doesn't open until 7 am.
I grew up in Lansing, I went to school literally right down the street and then College. Although I live in TN; I am always so proud to come back to Lansing and experience the beautiful level of hospitality from Janice, Emma and so many team members at this hotel.

They do not offer coffee in the morning. They want you to pay for a machine to make your coffee. The coffee in rooms sucks and only has powdered creamer. I dont like room coffee machines because you never know what the person before you ran through the coffee maker. How cheap can you be Marriott not to offer your guests coffee in the morning!!!!!! Especially for the room rate youre charging. You should be ashamed. I just cant get over the absurdity and cheapness of not offering coffee. I can get coffee from a budget motel but not your nice hotel?!?
