Spectrum Health Medical Group Pediatrics - Holland

My kids and I have been going to spectrum for a little over 7 years now and have had always a good experience. My kids love thier doctors (Dr. Rund, Dr. Mcdonald, And Dr. Willouhby)and thier favorite nurse is Pete. And if they were ever scared to get a shot they always find a way to make it not so scary for them. Highly recommend any of these doctors for kiddos.

I've been taking my kids to this provider for about a year now. We absolutely love it. The check-in process is simple with the patient portal and all the staff are very friendly. Our doctor, Dr. Willoughby is really knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner, and helps the kids feel at ease. Whenever we have questions she doesn't hesitate to answer them and explain things in a way we can all understand. They are also really great at reading and responding quickly to emails. I'm really glad we made the switch to this office!

I really liked our pediatrician, but am forced to switch doctors because of the nurses. We have been going here for years and not a single nurse can give a vaccine without stabbing it in as hard as they can. The last time though I'm really wondering if she hit my sons bone. He is not a crier when he gets hurt but I could not get him to stop crying. His leg was red and sore for days. I actually went to the health department for his remaining vaccine and she was so gentle, he didn't even cry. Now when we drive past the office he always says "that's my old doctor, but we're never going back there".

Made a new patient appt and gave insurance information a week ago. Received a call today (the day before the appt) that they actually don't take our insurance and are cancelling our appointments. Incredibly disappointed. This should have been caught when the appts were scheduled so I could find other prompt care for my children. Now I'm starting over and have lost time.
