PNC Mortgage

Recent meetings with the manager, and a banker have been very helpful and informative. Very happy with this branch since my move to. Grand Rapids.

Went here to cash a check and they said they could not cash it at this location because they don't keep money and asked me if I wanted a cashier's check for my check.....! Anyways they need to take down the word "bank" next to PNC because this location is not a bank, they do not have cash....?!!!? What kind of bank does not have cash.... Garbage PNC obviously.

I would not recommend this location. Certain staff are less than helpful and do not seem to know what they are doing. I needed to change my name and close my personal account. After two visits and plenty of time wasted, none of this was accomplished due to their own errors. If you are not looking to waste time and patience, go elsewhere.

I visited on Aug. 11th to obtain a cashier's check using existing funds in my account. However, the teller failed to mention she had to go through a lengthy approval process. After 15 minutes of waiting, the teller was still on the phone "requesting approval", so I had to leave the bank without my cashier's check. If you've ever seen Dave Chappelle's "Pop Copy" comedy sketch, PNC has become the equivalent for banks. PNC is now just as bad as Chase in terms of customer service, which is saying a lot.
