We went for dinner at And more. The Sheraton has a wonderful restaurant with a full bar. It is open to the public, is located in Cascade, and is a must for local Grand Rapids residents as well as hotel patrons. We had excellent service from Esther, our bartender and server. She made one of the best Old Fashioned cocktails I've ever had. We had some delicious flatbread starters (the mushroom was my favorite), I had a Panzanella Salad and the salmon. The salmon was blackened and was cooked medium. The meal and experience was top notch.

Bought a night stay on groupon for 88 dollars they charged 114 total. We loved our stay at the hotel until I got home and realized they charged me 159 dollars as well, when I called they said they messed up and I wasnt supposed to be charged at all and id be refunded within a few days its been two weeks we called again and they said they were just too busy to refund me. Edit to add after response: I do not believe this apology or that this is an isolated incident as I still havent been refunded and after looking into others reviews this has happened multiple times to serveral people

From staff to decor, service, amenities, and location. This is one of my favorite properties to stay at in Grand Rapids, including extended stays. The location is near the shopping district with a Meijer and a Target in walking distance (in addition to things like backs and many restaurants). I travel for work on a weekly basis and essentially live in hotels for most of the year, and this has been one that I will return to time and again. The decor lends itself to productivity and sociability, as well as relaxation, Jim the rest of the staff is kind, understanding, and easy to work with. I have stayed here weekly for about a month now, and I will continue to return to this property. Rooms: The rooms are clean, spacious, and well furnished. They have sit-stand tables (the versatility of which is quite nice), and the lighting fixtures in the mail area of the bedroom are adjustable between low and high. There is also backlighting on the main focus feature of the room where the TV is attached. Some rooms have a balcony which has been nice to open the door to let fresh air into the room or simply to step outside for a brief moment. The TV has attachments so you can connect HDMI and USB devices (e.g. Amazon Fire TV Stick, AppleTV, etc) and they can connect to the wifi directly. Refrigerators are located in the bar in the closet, and are quite cold. The showers are nice because they are adequately configured temperature-wise, and I can actually take a hot shower, and cool using the cold water when desired. The KING rooms seem such that the bathroom and the sink area are separated, but the DOUBLES seem to have a full bathroom based on my experience. Safety: There is controlled access to the building from outside that requires a key card for entry, and after 10:00 PM those doors remain locked requiring entry through the main entrance even with a key card. Walkability: The property is within walking distance to a Meijer store, Panera, and other restaurants. Located on 28th street its easy to access the area shopping district if thats something youre looking for. Food & drinks: The food at the restaurant is good and the staff is able to speak to the drinks and food items as well. In the convenience shop adjacent to the front desk, there appears to be a couple of items prepared in the restaurant for purchase. Noteworthy details: The decor and atmosphere of this property is beautiful and relaxing. High-end. Its quite a large facility and there are many seating areas throughout which are great for a relaxed chat. The pool is lit and I frequent the hot tub between events when possible. If you are able to get a view of the courtyard youll find that there is a beautiful view of the area with lights especially in the warmer months when the outdoor pool area is open. The Fitness center is listed as 24-hours online and in the app, but the placard at the facility stars that it closes at 11:00 and your key card will not grant access at that time; the third shift staff probably Jim has no problems with letting you in if you ask at the front desk. Jim and the rest of the staff are kind, courteous, and working with them has been an easy-flowing experience over the last several weeks. Extending your stay is as simple as sending a message in the Bonvoy App. There is also a shuttle to and from the airport which I value as I travel for work on a weekly basis and that makes it easy, convenient, and cost effective to come and go from this hotel each week.
