Clarion Inn & Suites Airport

Well, this is my second review of the Clarion Hotel on 28th Street in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I did post a playful review previously, but this one: Well, you read it. This hotel is not a Vegas hotel by far as far as luxury. This is an average working persons hotel appearance wise now what makes up for that is the staff the staff is awsome and friendly it's not just a act they have great social skills with their guess. Now for a 3rd shift working stiff this has been a great place for me they understand the way my schedule goes for work and they have adapted to my needs as far as checking in when I get off work and it rather affordable for me to stay here and work. The clarion breakfast isn't a gourmet restaurants menu it's basic with eggs, sausage , toast beagles, cereal, and juices this breakfast will definitely get you started in the morning I do wish they would add to it in the future it's really something that the hotel should extend on because it's worth it to the guests Well I could go on and on but I'm cutting you all off here. Tonya, keep up the good work, and don't change for anyone. You're definitely a bonus to this hotel, and it's guest.

As always. My husband and I always feel at home when we visit Michigan because of the lovely staff at the Clarion... We couldn't ask for a more welcoming feeling. Whenever we have stayed at the Clarion they have the best breakfast ,the cleanest rooms, and I think the icing on the cake is how welcome they always make u feel. You don't feel like your staying at just any hotel it almost feels like we are visiting family when we stay there. We will be back shortly. Heading to New York and see you again this coming Friday. This hotel is the best hotel I and my family has ever been to! Everyone that works there treats us as family! House keepers , front desk and the General manager doing her thing managing! Love it here I highly highly recommend this hotel! Go see for yourself and book at Clarion Inn & Suites Airport today!!! Rooms: Rooms are nice and clean hot showers comfy beds awesome TV show just super nice!! Nearby activities: Location is the best! Everything we need is just walking distance. Just great! Safety: Oh it's safe totally safe! Food & drinks: The food and drinks are delicious and hydrating!!

Im a Choice Privilege member and I was highly disappointed in the service here. We had to stay here for emergency rehousing and I received help from MDHHS to pay for this particular 2 day stay. 03.31.24- The housekeeping is not good. I had to clean the room when we checked in. I had to mop the floors and get hair out of the bathrooms (had 2 rooms) there was a cig burn on one of the floors and old juice spots dried with dirt on both and we had to wipe old food stains, build up dirt and grim on some(like 35% of 2 rooms) on the walls. The blow dryers in the bathroom had mold on them and the mirrors are a bit outdated with visible damage on them. THE COMMUNICATION WITH THE STAFF AND GUEST is IMPOSSIBLE as Nobody speaks English and they just stare at you and smile or I had 2 in particular say nasty things in their native tongue because I complained about the rooms not being up to par. They said pets are welcome, then said my cat couldnt stay. Only dogs.even though my cat is neutered and had claw clips.smh. The lady at the front desk during check in was polite but has kind of a oh well demeanor and it shows. They dont give change for the coin vending or laundry machines they have on site. And last but most importantly. The WiFi only works in the lobby. We had to sit in the lobby to get wifi as it wouldnt connect from our room or to our TVs. I would never come back or recommend to anyone that actually pays to stay. Rooms: The rooms are big and spacious, there are minimal outlets, the lights in the rooms didnt cut on and maintenance wasnt receptive as there is a language barrier Food & drinks: The breakfast is a basic continental style breakfast combination.
