        August of 2019, I requested a quote for a retaining wall. We knew it would be fall before the work would happen. Winter hit us early so this work got pushed to spring 2020. Then COVID-19 hit March 2020 and Michigan was shut down. I reached out to the contractor to make sure we were still on the radar. I was assured we were, once they got the spring start up taken care of upon release of the Governor's work stoppage. In June 2020, I received an email stating the work would proceed the last week of June or first week of July. I responded to contractor with a question, got no response, and now it is October and still no retaining wall or communication from contractor. I didn't push it as we had so much more on our plate. I won't be a filler job for a company when they have no other work. You either want the work, or you don't.
