Fayette Historic State Park Campground

Very neat place to visit, love how most of the structures were intact with self guided tour you can take as long as you want. If you have time stroll along the Overlook trail or Shoreline trail. Bathrooms were clean and has little gift shop.

Camped here in our big truck camper . Sites are small , but ideal for our 26ft length .Washrooms are well maintained , and the entire area is nicely kept up .Nice easy walk to the awesome historic townsite , and great opportunities to get beautiful pics of the harbour , coke ovens , and grounds . Highly recommend this peaceful area in the off season .

The park has nice showers and that's really all I can say we liked about it. It was crowded, hard to maneuver our 21' camper into the site. Kids running around at a very young age unattended. The Town is fantastic and we put up with the camping because it was convenient. I gave it 3 stars because most of what we didn't care for comes down to personal preference, not really the park's fault. Just not our kind of camping.
