I called Family heating and cooling and the customer service was very polite and accommodating. I was able to get someone out to my home that same week. Sam was my technician. He did an excellent job! He came out for a furnace inspection, and not only was he very professional, he covered every detailed. He noticed an element that was not aligned, fix it and my furnace has never sounded so good. I highly recommend the company and Sam.

Family was one of three vendors that I reached out to after my residential boiler died. Brian Stavola took my call and personally scheduled his own on-site visit. I received a call from Brian on that scheduled morning to alert that he was in route and when I could expect him so I wouldn't be waiting around. Upon his arrival, he noted my interest in replaceing/upgrading all of the crazy old painted boiler pipes and in-op valves. He also noted my interest in relocating my existing water heater and my preferred location for the new boiler. Both moves would look better, result in a better use of space and provide better accessibility to our water meter etc. Not only did Family provide me with a detailed quote THAT SAME AFTERNOON, it reflected my special requests at a better price than the other two vendors. It was a pretty easy decision at that point. I received a call from the installer Dan Palko on the morning of the scheduled installation day. He and his accociate tarped off a path from my laundry room to the door to protect our carpet. They swiftly turned off the water/gas, removed of the old boiler unit, drained my water heater and focused on the metal web of old pipes. In the end, there were no surprises, no disappointments, no added costs and no mess. Everything was completed as promised and within the time frame that we discussed. Dan was very knowledgable, kind, perfessional and conscientious. He explained all of the features of my new maintenance free system and proudly showed me all of the new pipes that are now in tidy rows, which appeales to my OCD... I now have heat and no regrets.
