Wayne State University Natural History Museum

There is minimal visitor information on the website of the museum. I called the museum multiple times before I visited: either there was no answer or the person who answered did not know the opening hours of the museum. I decided to drive over to check out. There was no marking about the museum on the exterior of the building. All entrances to the building were locked. It did not appear that the museum was open to the public.

Inside the Biosciences building of Wayne State University in Detroit- the room was locked and we had to ask the ladies at the office next door to open it for us. They have a decently sized collection, but definitely not epic. If you love natural history or taxidermy and are within a half hour's drive, I would say it's worth a stop, but it is just a single room rather than a full on museum.
