"I recently had a funeral for my loved one at O.H. Pye, lll Funeral Home and I must express my disappointment with the services provided. The staff during the family view seemed disorganized and aggressive,failing to meet our needs and show proper respect during such a sensitive time. During the family viewing that was held in their main chapel a couple of my family members were injured due to unsafe furniture that fell on them. Communication was lacking, to accommodate the guest who was injured during the incident which made an already sensitive time even worst. I expected more professionalism and empathy from a funeral home. Unfortunately, my family and I did not receive the support and care we needed during this challenging time."

Went to the funeral of a co worker today (Angelo Williams) and was appalled by the lack of empathy by the person officiating the funeral. He stated before people were allowed to come up to make remarks that there was another funeral afterwards so basically, hurry up. The funerals should be spaced apart so that that type of comment wouldnt be needed. That was the most tacky and unnecessary remark you could make before a grieving family. Im sure they paid thousands of dollars to have time to listen to others share their love for their loved one. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

Oh Pye III was a huge help with the services for my aunt Wilma Person back in November. This was my first time planning a funeral and I had no clue what I was doing. They took all of the guess work out of it and basically handled everything for me. Kellee A. Miller gave me a business card and put a cell phone number on the back just in case I had questions out side of normal business hours. During our first meeting they provided me with options for services with clear the cost of each service clearly highlighted. Once I had made my selections I was provided with a business card and told that I could call anytime with questions. Talika did my aunts hair and make-up and she was beautiful and looked so natural. Talika did an awesome job and wasn't afraid to let me know when she thought what I was suggesting wasn't the best options for my aunt. I'm so glad she asked me to allow her to do things her way and if I didn't like it she would change it. Nothing needed to be changed because she did an awesome job. Our family car driver, I believe his name was Ron or Rob; he was awesome and started things off with a much needed prayer. He arrived early and made sure everyone was in the car in plenty of time to arrive to the services. Overall, this entire process was handled very well. All of the employees at Oh Pye III are class acts, from the ladies you first encounter at the desk, to everyone else your path will cross with during this process. I highly recommend entrusting O.H. Pye III with the services for your loved one. They helped ease a lot of stress during a most stressful time in our lives and we are very appreciative. Although I pray I don't need them again any time soon, if and when there is a need I will definitely be going back to O.H. Pye for their top notch service.
