John is the only person I will ever work with for mortgage or refinancing! If you are considering shopping around for lenders I'd advise you to skip that step and go straight with Sock Mortgage. (Spoiler alert: I did the shop around thing and went RIGHT BACK to John at Sock Mortgage!)
I ran into so many inadequate options when shopping around. Lenders with limited hours, employees who couldn't answer my basic questions or just threw paperwork at me without any explanations, I even had someone send me another person's social security number! I knew when I first talked to John I was probably going to go with him and Sock Mortgage, but being a first time home-buyer I was urged to look at a few different options before deciding.
Not once did I ever question John's knowledge, experience, or honesty. It was clear from the first phone call with him that he is genuine person who wants to help you close without locking you into something that doesn't work for you just to close.
John has been working with me for a few years now during my home hunt. He's always been available, extra speedy, and super kind! I will recommend John & Sock Mortgage to everyone I know for as long as I live lol

I started the process of building a house about 11 months ago and reached out to john about my mortgage. Right from the start he made me feel comfortable. throughout the whole build process john was always following up and making sure I had everything I needed and made sure I was taken care of. He made sure I could get the best rate as possible. Every time I had a question he never hesitated to answer them, even at times I ask the same question over and over and he kept answering till I understood!
