My husband Greg Kapanowski, had bilateral knee replacements, from Dr. Carpenter in 2015. Best Dr. ever! Greg was back doing construction in just 8 weeks. Up and down ladders putting in flooring on his knees. We went to three doctors one at U of M one in Chicago and Dr Carpenter. So glad that we picked him. Greg was given so much more quality of life. Thank you Dr. Carpenter. And his staff is amazing too.

Dr. Carpenter did knee replacement surgery on me. He has my highest possible recommendation from me. .

In my opinion, this doctor and office are overrated. I felt treated like a number, I had nerve damage from the surgery and was told for months by PA's that it was normal and then when I finally got to see the actual doctor after my surgery he seemed surprised by it and didn't think it was normal but passed it off as being anesthesia's fault. No one seemed to care that it bothers me. Thankfully, it's just numbness down the front of my shin and not loss of mobility. The frosting on the cake was trying to get in to see him a month ago with a new problem with my other knee. I was told it would be October before I could get in. This is with me having given them thousands of dollars last summer for a knee replacement and being an established patient. I won't be going back to this doctor. Thankfully, I was able to get in to a different doctor and am having surgery tomorrow for a torn meniscus.
