Everything is perfect.
However the breakfast meat is soggy because it is in a steamer. Best to pan-fry the meat first and then serve in a dry tray.

Excellent value! We had a great stay. It is in a good location near the school and freeway. The staff was friendly. It was clean. Breakfast was hot, fully stocked, and good. Xavier made recommendations for things to do in the area as well as Detroit. We were booked for one night and decided to stay a second. We were going to stay in Detroit but decided this hotel was convenient to Detroit and the airport. Plus parking was easy and free.
Rooms: Our room was not big but it had everything we needed for an amazing price. And it was clean!

The Fairfield Inn on Boardwalk is impeccably clean, conveniently located, and most importantly, provides a high level of service consistent with more luxurious brands. Specifically, the Fairfield is close to the U Mich campus in an area that has many hotel chains-- Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn, etc. But what makes the Fairfield stand out from the others is its high level of service. All the staff do a great job, and the front desk agent, Xavier, went above and beyond making all guests feel welcome. He is very professional and friendly, always busy saying hello to guests, making sure the lobby and coffe area are clean and ship-shape. During my 5-night stay, he made sure a family member who wasn't feeling well was able to check in several hours early. Also, after we checked out, my wife discovered she left something in the room. She called Xavier and without being asked, he went up to the room, located the item beneath the bed, and had it waiting for us when we returned. While there are many hotel options in this part of Ann Arbor, we will definitely choose the Fairfield Inn because of its professional, friendly staff and the high quality service they provide.
