Its been since October since Ive moved out and still no return of security deposit. Corporate has been no help and im super frustrated.
Update: I have now received the check after posting the review.
Building is in great location. Maintenance team and Nicole were also always super amazing and responsive! So overall I did enjoy living here only negative was thin walls and getting the check back 2 months after it was supposed to be given to me.

It should not take 60+ days to return a security deposit!

Ugly building, unbelievably cheap construction quality, stupid app-controlled buzzers don't work (whose brilliant idea was that?), unresponsive building staff, NYC-level population density, poor ventilation, half the units are being used as AirBNBs, tiny apartments. Sounds great, right? How about climbing over mountains of Amazon packages on your way to the single tiny, poor aligned elevator every day? How about that one side of the building that lacks cladding because the developer ran out of money?
I'm harping on the quality of the construction but it really blows my mind that they got away with work this shoddy and are charging 50% over market rate for the pleasure of living in it. SO MANY PEOPLE are crammed into this death trap. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if someday it became Ann Arbor's answer to Champlain Towers South.
But sure, it has a rooftop bar.

First - the apartment building itself is beautiful. One of the nicest in Ann Arbor.
The management of this complex is a TRAIN WRECK. My son and daughter lived in this complex for 1 year. While signing the lease for the apartment, the leasing agent would take, go MIA, then come back and want docs immediately. The entire process was delayed by her failure to get back to us on multiple occasions. She even raised the rate during the process - but we just wanted to get the unit, and finally did. At the end of the process, got a "how did we do" email - I was honest and detailed all the struggles. We were contacted and offered a refund on fees, probably so we wouldn't post anything negative.
Fast forward 1 year - after move out STILL no refund of security deposit. Repeated requests went ignored and unanswered.
Yes, the building is beautiful - but good luck ever getting help, or getting your security deposit back. Buyer beware.
