Very disappointed with yarn selections at Saugus, MA store. Most of the yarn is Big Twist and other selections are limited. Two customers, including me, left the store without a purchase.

I didnt know what to expect at this store but Im really glad I took the trip to come out here. The girl who worked at the sewing center or whatever its called is so sweet, you can really tell she loves her job and enjoys helping people. She gave me really clear directions and I found what I needed within seconds. Im pretty sure she came around the corner to see if I found the item, so I really appreciate her for going the extra mile. I went to check out at the cash register and was met by Araya, a literal ray of . She also seems to enjoy her job and is so positive! We were able to chat for a bit and she was very relatable, she made my day with the great conversation we had. Joann in Saugus has wonderful employees which is very rare nowadays, bless both of you!

Always have a great selection of fabrics. Just dont go to the cutting counter within half an hour of closing. Youll be greeted with an attitude and a miserable employee telling you they dont like it when people come before closing and that you should have waited until tomorrow instead. I was still checked out of the store before closing and the employee is getting paid to do her job so not sure what the issue is .

The manager, i think her name is Kathy is very rude and seems like she hates her job. I made an online order to pick up. The cashier whom is an older woman with short blonde hair, told me to go to cutting station to get what i ordered. After waiting 30 minutes, i finally get the fabric. Now they wont let me take the fabric because apparently I didnt pay for it. I made an online order and paid it online with my debit card, which means its already paid for. Then manager Kathy comes over and is extremely rude saying I still have to pay for fabric, even after I paid online. I previously worked in retail before & i know that they could of looked up my order to see if the item I went to get, matched the online order (since I had to go get the product myself) & then close the online order. Instead they had to waste an hour of my time & made me pay twice.
