image Department Of Children & Families in Salem, Massachusetts is a corrupted government agency that needs to be dismantled, drained and flush. The dirt I have on them in my pandoras box will show just how much of a horrible agency they are. RIP Harmony Montgomery

image I know the DCF has a reputation for being unfair, having no conscience, and being insensitive among many other things I have read and heard. And let's face it... its abrupt and no one likes having an outside agency or unknown person in their lives, digging into personal details and in some cases removing your child from your house. It happened to me and it takes a lot to put your ego aside, and open your eyes enough to see all sides and to try and learn from the experience.
In their defense as an agency, they have been given the absolutely thankless task to try and protect minors and when needed, make sure family support services are in place. When the initial shock wears off that someone would open a complaint against you, and calm down enough to take a look at all sides, this becomes very evident. The DCF in Massachusetts has a staggering number of services available and when you and your child work with them, and not against them, the world of these services can be opened up and available to your family and your case. Every single individual case worker I have been in contact with is doing the same thankless job for one simple reason and that is because they truly care.
My sister is a social worker in another state and I can almost guarantee that DCF case workers aren't doing it for the money. Over the last few years it has becomes clear that they actually care about the families they work with and they take a lot of pride in doing a good job and showing that they care. One initial complaint I had was the responsiveness... until I found out the enormity of their individual case-load. If you reading this, I'd be willing to bet you would have quit long before now.
The reason they need to obtain so much personal information is so they can formulate the best plan for actually reuniting the minor with their family. I see in my case workers other human beings, who have feelings and have worked incredibly hard... days, nights and weekends for my daughters and myself. With the primary goal NOT being to drive a stake between us, make more money for the state or their vendors, or any of the other ridiculous claims I have read online... but to eventually reunite my daughter and myself in a safe and manageable family environment.

image I personally hate every aspect of dcf policy and dislike most who follow it. But It's not all bad people. Most workers are very passionate about helping but ever aspect of assistance is diminish by there bosses creating absurd rules to attempt to keep safety but little do they know the extra steps minimize any necessary help from having positive impact. If I could change one thing about dcf I would make every case specific to the family and never overstep the opinion of the youth. Throughout all my years dealing with them I can only name 2 people who have impacted me in a positive way. Carma thank you for enduring me as a client. I didn't make it easy. Also Betsy because she has stood by my family and knows my story better than paperwork and thats rare for a worker to ask you instead of reading your file. But all the system has done is Hurt me which I accredit to my never give up mentality for those reading this Use your displeasure as fuel and never stop driving.

image This Department are so unjustly, unfair have favoritism. I have not been heard all they see is the effect and reaction but not the causes they prioritize narcissistic person and keep encouraging and empowering this manipulative controlling sick people. While the ones who wants to better themselves stay in one piece , learn have to have a voice and identity after being responsible for their action and doing everything and struggles to survive daily go unnoticed But my hope is on a living God I hope justice be served on my behalf and someone comes out and help me and my children to reunify and my hard work be acknowledged. In God I Do Trust. Especially if all have done is be honest.
