Missing Dogs Massachusetts was incredibly helpful navigating a stressful 36 hours when my pup ran off in Middlesex Fells. They provided support and helpful tips on how to best strategize to get our guy back, and put us in contact with all the right people. Im so appreciative!

I am the owner of a small dog walking business in Medford MA, Just a few days ago we had a dog slip his harness and take off on his walker in the woods. He is familiar with the area and is usually great off leash for his mom and for us but something caused him to just keep running. Missing dogs Massachusetts was one of the first agencies I contacted to report him missing, and almost immediately I received correspondence from them with advice on the dos/don'ts of searching for a lost dog. They helped spread the word, a volunteer came out to the area where he went missing and advised us on where to hang flyers etc. They were in constant contact with us and less than 36 hours after going missing, the sweet boy was found safe and sound. We could not possibly be more thankful to MDM for their help in bringing him back to his mom, I hope to never need their services again but it is so comforting to know that there's a group ready to help whenever needed. Thank you for everything, we are forever in your debt!

My husband and I were blown away by the incredible help we received from Maryanne and Mary at MDM when our dog Chance took off in the woods during a walk a few months ago. We were unbelievably grateful to have met them and to have had their invaluable help in a moment when we felt truly desperate. Maryanne reached out to my husband right away after he contacted MDM with tons of great information about what steps we could take to increase our odds of finding our dog again, and Mary spent most of the next day walking around the area with me helping to figure out his most likely location, setting up a surveillance camera and helping us put items near where he was lost so he would smell our scent and stay in the area. We followed their directions as closely as possible and reunited with our pup 24 hours after we lost him. Beyond just helping us get Chance back, Mary and Maryanne also helped us to feel less alone in a very scary situation. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and highly invested in helping animals (and their humans) reunite and stay safe. Thank you Mary, Maryanne and MDM!!

Our thanks to MDM and Lisa for guiding us on setting up a rescue and the dos and dont to a successful rescue for our one year old Theo, an Australian Shepherd rescue we had just picked up and then he bolted on arriving back to his forever home. A huge shout out of thanks and appreciation to our volunteer rescuers, Deb and Danielle, for coming to our rescue when Theo escaped on his 5 nights/6 day adventure in the cold weather. These ladies, our angels, were very calming and reassuring. They go out at all hours of the day and night to check traps and sightings. They guided us everyday, reassured us and kept us calm and were able to entice him to the trap. A happy ending for us with Theo and he is home and thriving everyday. We are forever grateful for these ladies and the volunteer work they do for our dogs!

My dog Mona went missing at 3pm on 2/9/24. I posted this my facebook page. Jenny from missing dogs in Massachusetts saw my post contacted me. I dont know what I would have done without her great advice and help. I kept checking every half hour the front and back yard. Jenny suggested keeping the gate open and leaving food her bedding and other things outside. Its horrible when your pet goes missing. I wouldnt wish that on anyone. I found Mona this Morning at 5 am, On my back porch. Jenny thank you so very much for everything. You and Missing dogs in Massachusetts are wonderful and I would absolutely recommend this organization for any pet lover.
