I've been to this salon three times for haircuts, and personally, I don't recommend Asians accustomed to Asian hairstyles to come here for several reasons: In Asia, whether it's Korea, China, or Japan, there's no requirement to finish each customer's haircut within an hour, which is unreasonable. The first time I visited this salon, my stylist finished my haircut very quickly. My request was simple, just a regular one-length cut. However, even though this seems simple, it requires attention to detail. I felt that my stylist didn't meet my expectations. From a distance, the haircut looked okay, but upon closer inspection, it was not just slightly worse than what I got from my Korean hairstylist in Los Angeles before, but significantly worse in terms of detail. After three haircuts, during the final touches, the stylist didn't brush off the small hair clippings from my clothes like Asian stylists usually do, or use a blow dryer to clean them off. As a result, when I got into my car, there were hair clippings all over my clothes and around the collar, which was very unpleasant. I don't understand why the salon requires stylists to finish what should be a slow process within an hour. The only reason I can think of is to serve more customers and increase profits. As someone who has frequented high-end Asian salons before, I find this absurd. If the stylist's skills are lacking and they still have to rush for profit, then no one would want to come back. In Asia, hair washers not only wash hair but also provide a relaxing scalp massage for five to ten minutes to help relieve tension. This salon doesn't offer that. Everything feels rushed, and I don't understand why foreigners work in such a hasty manner. I haven't seen whether the stylist disinfects and reuses combs. I don't want the comb used on the previous customer to touch my hair; it's unhygienic. In my most recent haircut, I asked for a one-length cut, meaning the entire length should be on one horizontal line. However, when I got home, I found out that my hair was cut into a bob style. I didn't want the front hair to be longer than the back, and I explicitly showed her how much I wanted to cut. She said okay, but she cut it shorter than I wanted. Hair grows back, so I didn't pay much attention to this issue, but the stylist must cut according to my request; otherwise, it's not what I want, and it affects my daily styling and image. Overall, my stylist is okay, but her blow-drying technique is too fast. My hair is fine and soft, and she might not have paid enough attention. When blow-drying, she occasionally hit my scalp with the comb, which was painful. So I hope you can improve on this.
