This was my fault for not heeding the warnings, because I thought that any car focused establishment could handle a state inspection and tire rotation. But I was wrong. I checked into my appointment, and the associate at the front desk goes over what I'm there for. He mentions an oil change which I immediately correct with "no, I didn't ask for an oil change." During my inspection, they note I need a new bulb of some sort, a cabin filter, and rear windshield wiper. I obviously say go ahead with these repairs. They begin the courtesy check, and I get a text about everything that needs repairing for my car - including new brakes (which is annoying but not unexpected). Note: no one came up to explain the results of this courtesy check or next steps. I just got the text and associated document. So time is passing and my car is on the lift so I'm assuming they are replacing my brakes because they are in such bad shape. No one is communicating anything to me, so I'm just sitting in the waiting room. At this point we are approaching me being there for 90 minutes and I've begun doing some deductive reasoning and find out they don't have a rear windshield wiper for me and they've called another store for a wiper. TWO HOURS after the start of my appointment FOR A STATE INSPECTION AND TIRE ROTATION, my wiper arrives and they install it. Then I get my receipt, where I see I was charged for an oil change that I didn't ask for and corrected the associate about beforehand. So I walked away from this appointment with bad brakes (that no associate talked to me about, or attempted to discuss next steps for), an oil change that I did not ask for BUT paid for, and two hours of my day wasted waiting for a $15 dollar rear windshield wiper. Seeing as I need new brakes, I'm taking recommendations, because I will not be going to Midas again.

At 11:00a I booked an appointment online for 2:00p. They honored the appointment exactly on time. Extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable about my car make/model. Told me brake pad replacement would take about 2 hours, texted me that it was done after an hour and a half, and charged me a very fair price. Simply could not have gone any better.

This place is AWFUL! dont take your car here. I booked an appointment for an oil change. I brought my car in and the guy at the front desk was very nice. They offered to do a free once over on my car and I figured why not, just to know what was wrong. After being there for 2 and a half HOURS my car was still up on the lift with no tires on!! The oil change was way over priced and when I finally got the report from their free once over there were 7 things they marked as urgent they said needed to be fixed. However, they said my breaks and my horn were fine. These are two things I knew needed work. My horn is completely broken and my front breaks were pretty much bare. They missed both of these, so clearly not a good once over. When I took it to a different mechanic to get the work done that they said needed to be done, the mechanic brought me under the lift while my car was up and showed me half of the things they said I needed were perfectly fine. Mainly the lower right control arm, which they said was almost completely broken off and needed to be fixed ASAP was completely fine and strongly attached. They also told me my axle seal was leaking transmission fluid when it in fact was not. This is not just one mechanics word against another, I saw these things myself when it was up on the lift. The midias mechanic also claimed it took so long because he thought they were waiting for a part, when I was very clear all I wanted to get done was an oil change. Additionally the midias guys told me I needed both my filters changed, I asked how much, he told me the price, and then moved on to the next thing. Then, in the middle of our conversation he excused himself, went to the garage, and told the mechanic I wanted the filters changed and some other work done. Luckily, he started talking before the door was closed and I heard him say it. I made it very clear for probably the 4th time since I had arrived that I did not want any additional work done on my car that day besides the oil change. Overall, terrible experience. Never go here.
