    Last year our house was hit by lightning. We didn't have a fire but lost a most of our electronics and appliances. We also had to be out of our home for a few weeks. We were so stressed and couldn't believe how hard our insurance company was to deal with. We finally called Chris and he just took over all communication and helped guide us. Chris communicated with our insurance company on our behalf and explained to us our rights under our policy. He organized all adjusters and managed the process with professionalism and organization. He was our saving grace. We walked away with all new electronics, appliances and any costs occurred. I trust Chris ethically and professionally and would never try and deal with insurance claims again without him. He will go out of his way to help and do it all with a smile!

    In October of 2021, we had a tree fall on our home during a terrible northeaster. It did a fair amount of damage, as it broke through the roof and into the attic, allowing wind and rain to come through. Unable to get in contact with our insurance company, our brother-in-law recommended that we call Chris. And we are so glad we did!! Chris answered our call right away, and was here that same day to assess the damage to our home and property. The stress and trauma of having our home of 42 years damaged to that extent was immediately lowered when we first met. Chris calmly explained how the insurance would work, what would happen, and that he would do all the necessary communication and negotiations with our insurance company. He made a couple of visits to our home, took lots of pictures and documentations, and did all of the communicating with the insurance company. Chris was able to get all our repairs covered, which was amazing to us, considering the estimate costs we were getting from contractors. When Chris sat down with us to go over his final document, we were amazed not only with the amount of work he had put into this, but his meticulous attention into every little detail of needed repair. Our first thought was that we never would have been able to do this on our own. Chris helped us tremendously through a difficult situation, and we cannot thank him enough. We highly recommend Chris Batchelor/TSA to anyone who may be in need of his services. You will not be disappointed!

    I only wish I knew about Chris back when hurricane Irene tortured my house. I couldve used his meticulous and knowledgeable assessment of damages back then. Thank goodness I was referred to him on October 27 of 2021 when we had some kind of microburst in the center of Wareham MA causing a healthy, very large and very heavy silver oak to come down on the front of my house. It effected my electricity, my roof, my siding, my porch, all sorts of things were effected. I was overwhelmed. A friend recommended Chris and what a difference. He knew how to assess the damage and remain in contact with my homeowners insurance. So glad I had his help. I used Shiretown Contractors in Plymouth and they did an awesome job as well.     If you are unlucky enough to need assistance with a property insurance claim, I wholeheartedly recommend you retain Total Adjustment Services (TAS) immediately. I am very glad I did. We were getting nowhere with the insurance company. I was in new waters (what did I know about remediation, or rebuilding the interior of a home, for that matter?), and my frustration level with the insurance settlement process could not have gotten higher. We suffered substantial damage from Storm #16 in late October 2021 (which later became t/s WANDA). In the beginning, I worked tirelessly to provide photo documentation of the damage, but my insurance company just transferred/ sold my claim to a claim management company, and I got nowhere with them. Their initial assessment was enough to cover the new roof, with a few thousand dollars to cover incidentals. However, the damage sustained was primarily to the interior. Water with the assistance of very strong winds was able to penetrate via the roof and at 3 other points. The entire front faade on two levels was ruined. We had damage to the walls, ceilings and floors. It really was a disaster. While I lost sleep for weeks over this matter, I got the feeling that my claims administrator considered me and my claim to be a very low priority. When I shared the horrible insurance experience I was having with a good roofing contact, he said I needed a professional adjuster to resolve this issue. He was so right. From my very first interaction with Chris at TAS, I knew I had retained the perfect man/company for the job. Chris was not sweet or overly sympathetic, he was 100% business. Which was nice because it had become very personal for me. From the point that TAS took over the claim, it was like a new day. TAS visited my home a couple of times, took a huge variety of images/video to document the damage, then took care of everything (all phone and email communication, negotiation, etc.). And I am so glad he did. He has an impressive array of professional qualifications needed to reach a fair settlement. I will not go into detail, but every issue I had was fully addressed. He even got $10,000 for mold-damage that was discovered during remediation. I have provided few of these types of online-recommendations in the past, but Chris/ TAS did an absolutely outstanding job. I feel like he fully deserves my positive recommendation, but I am also providing this referral for other people who are having difficulty reaching a fair insurance settlement. I strongly suggest you all contact TAS ASAP. You will be glad you did. I certainly am.
