Holiday Inn Cape Cod-Falmouth, an IHG Hotel

This is the most disgusting hotel i have ever walked into. Paid $460 for one night, we checked in and checked out within the 1st hour, and were told we would be refunded next morning only to find out that was a lie on top of everything else. Was told the pool was shut down for an emergency leak only to find out from other reviews it has been shut down for over a year, its amazing they can even legally advertise a pool since its been closed that long with no notice. The room was gross and moldy, we booked a larger room/suite that had a bed and outdated couch, and tons of empty space as if they removed all the rest of the furniture made no sense. Carpet was stained shower looked like it hadnt been cleaned in ages with moldy caulking everywhere. Have been talking to corporate for over a month to get a refund will be contacting the BBB and the news, this place needs to stop ripping people off. I turned in my keys and checked out within the hour and checked into a different hotel can provide the receipt, corporate was told that we checked out 7 hrs later and our belongings were still in the room? It must get tiring for the manager to have to constantly lie to guest and their corporate to stay afloat. This hotel should be shut down and based on all the other reviews on Yelp and Google im sure it will happen soon

**DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL** This hotel needs to be shut down. It is evident there is a mold/mildew problem upon reading these reviews. Will DEFINITELY be contacting BBB. We stayed there during Christmas and had to be placed in a different room as the first room was dirty with stains/hairs on the sheets as well as the room to our left is throwing a party with loud music and the room to the right we are able to hear EXACT conversations due to the walls being paper thin. Best part? There wasnt even a phone in our room to call the front desk so we had to lug all of our luggage and presents to the front to then go back to another room AFTER traveling for 5 hours. Second room: ALSO stains/hairs on sheets. Trash left in the room and also smelled of mold/mildew. Shower is COLD, no hot water as well as bathroom sink had stains in and around it so obviously nothing has been cleaned in our room. When asking the front desk for new sheets she said I THINK I can get you those but cant promise it when we go to take a shower there are also stains on the towels. The management team states they care about customer service but does absolutely nothing to help you on this. Wont even refund us for such a nightmare of a stay. Take your business across the street to the other hotels and STAY AWAY from this one. Clearly this hotel does not care about their customers as if customers are leaving the SAME reviews, they would do something about it.
